dotsama ecosystem eth-rpc needed

Like most endpoint providers, getblock is providing the substrate endpoint for Polkadot and it’s system chain AssetHub, but not providing an eth-rpc endpoint. AssetHub allows developers to deploy both substrate and solidity smart contracts. In order to work with eth_* calls, you also need to run the eth-rpc that translates eth calls to the substrate RPC. It’s easy to set up, Parity publishes a binary for it regularly - and you just point it at you’re already running Substrate endpoint. I don’t know about resource management/rate limits for this processes, but I’m guessing it can be managed at a different layer.

This small translation processes is missing in nearly every service provider’s offerings for this ecosystem.

Also, you don’t currently have a Paseo AssetHub chain available for the official testnet. You have Westend available under your Polkadot Testnet-Asset-Hub, which is the environment that Polkadot uses to test protocol upgrades, it’s not a public testnet for developers. You should add Paseo and Paseo Asset Hub along with the eth-rpc as well.

Happy to discuss.
